[00:00:01] Check test. What's going on, y'? All?
[00:00:04] Day 3, October 17, 2025 so I'm thinking about in high school, you had different tables, right? You had different types of people.
[00:00:16] And it seemed like to me you had to pick a table.
[00:00:20] Are you this type of person? Are you this type of person? And like, even those tables have molds, right?
[00:00:28] For me, I want a little bit from each table.
[00:00:34] So I. And I couldn't really pick a table. Whether it be the guys are in certain things or the guys are in the certain. These other things.
[00:00:45] I liked a little bit of everything. So, like, since, you know, having experiences with different types of people, like, for some people, you have to pick that. You have to pick one table. You can't pick. You can't pick up all of them.
[00:01:00] Which.
[00:01:01] Why do we do that to ourselves? Why do we put ourselves in sections? Why do we section ourselves off? Oh, you can only be at this table, but you can't be at that table. You know, all these rules and stuff. So whenever I create stuff, it's, it's. It involves a bunch of different tables.
[00:01:24] Like, for instance, I like heavy metal music, hard rock music, alternative music, and I like hip hop music.
[00:01:35] You know what I'm saying? Like, why do we have to choose one genre of music?
[00:01:41] So when I create something, I'm thinking about my podcast, the Corpse Christie Originals podcast.
[00:01:49] It's a reflection of who I am, right? Because I have different voices on. It's not just. I only have people that are interested in country music or people that are only interested in hip hop.
[00:02:03] And these are. I'm only talking musical genres here. I'm talking about people from different walks of life, different parts of my city that I live in, because it's a. At the moment, it's a solely based around Corpus Christi, right?
[00:02:18] So I just want us to. To break that high school thinking to where, oh, we only have to stick to this group of people. And we're in, like, I want to go as far as to say that we're still trying to impress a certain group of people.
[00:02:34] I see that with Instagram a lot on me, on mine, personally. Like, like, Instagram to me is like the popular crowd, the popular crowd of their specific table.
[00:02:49] And when I think, feel like when I come into Instagram, like, my table is for every.
[00:02:56] A bunch of different people from different tables can come to my table and, and dine. You know what I'm saying?
[00:03:04] So when I'm creating things on my. For my podcast, I have different groups. Like, I'm Thinking about the car culture that's in Corpus. That's. That's one little area.
[00:03:13] I just had the. The cyclists on for episode 91. That's another little area.
[00:03:20] Cron Martin, his area is, you know, the. The Riding High podcast, guys. You know what I mean?
[00:03:28] Just different tables can. Are allowed. Different people from different tables are allowed to come to my table and talk about their experiences, you know? Know, Because I feel like, not just what. It's. It's like. It reminds me of, like, in the Bible, where it talks about the body of Christ.
[00:03:46] Like, is the entire body just. Is the entire body just a foot or is the entire body just a hand?
[00:03:56] No, the entire body is different pieces. You got your hands, your feet, your legs. Like, there's a bunch of different pieces. And I feel like I'm trying to bring all those different pieces into, you know, to what they're supposed to be, which is the city as a whole. Because the city is not just one culture, right? It's a bunch of different cultures.
[00:04:16] So just realizing that about my podcast and about myself is huge, because I don't. I don't. I guess this is the first time I'm really kind of putting it into words, because before, that's just what it was. That's the type of person I am.
[00:04:36] I'm accepting of all different genres. You know what I mean? All different tables.
[00:04:42] I cannot say that. I can't say that. I just only pick one because there's. There's too. There's. There's too many constraints if you just pick one. Like, it's not fun. Like, you have to be this way if you're gonna sit at this table. You know what I'm saying? Like, and it might not. It might. And a lot of times they're unspoken rules. I'm not very good with unspoken rules. You know, I don't get social cues.
[00:05:06] You know, my day. My. My brain is adhd, and I've learned that about myself.
[00:05:11] So I have to, like, try to figure it out, what. What they're trying to say to me socially. So I don't. I want to have.
[00:05:22] I want my platform to be transparent enough to where people are like, oh, okay, I'm. I'm accepted at that table, even though I'm primarily at this table. You know what I mean? And, like, the whole concept of tables, like, why. Why are we still doing that to ourselves if we're outside of high school?
[00:05:39] You know what I'm saying?
[00:05:41] Let's get rid of them. Let's get rid of the tables, because there's so many rules that we got to follow, you know, and we want to do stuff.
[00:05:50] Like, I remember I was interested in this one girl in high school, but she was a part of a certain table, and, like, her table was like, no, you don't date this type of guy because he's from this type of table.
[00:06:03] You know what I'm saying? Like, we all know this. Like, we've been through this, but it's like, if we didn't have that mentality and two people are genuinely interested in each other, they could actually be with each other, regardless of what their friends think.
[00:06:18] You see what I'm saying here? And the. The couple that does do that, you know what I mean?
[00:06:24] Maybe they're more likely to be together for. For the long haul and not just for what their friends think.
[00:06:32] And a lot of marriages would be together, would stick together more.
[00:06:38] So, yeah, that's. That's my spilled for today about the tables. Different tables in different cultures, different sections of my city, as far as going into my podcast or even just in general thinking about. You know what I mean? And I just wanted to mention, too, that it was discouraging for me, too, because it's like, dude, no, I like rock music and I like hip hop, and I like country. Why can't I like all this stuff? Like, what's. What's the.
[00:07:05] My eyes red. Sorry, I got sidetracked. Yeah. So what's. What's the problem? You know? And even to this day, I see people that are my age. I'm 40, still clinging to that, and I'm like, this is holding us back.
[00:07:24] So with my platform, with my podcast, it's like, I don't want it to hold people back from wanting to get on the podcast because they feel like they're.
[00:07:35] I don't want them to feel when they come to my table that they're not accepted because, oh, no, you can't come over here because you're part of that table.
[00:07:44] No, like, I want to be accepting of everyone.
[00:07:47] I. I kind of lean back on that biblical principle of the body of Christ, right? Which is the body isn't just one member. It's not just ahead.
[00:07:57] It's not just a hand.
[00:07:59] You know, it's not just the shoulder. It's. The entire body is different pieces, and each piece has its function. You know what I mean? Has what it does. And it's like, I. I don't think that one is not less than the other either. Like, if one is the foot and one is the hand, like, one is not less. It's still part of the entire structure. It's still part of the body. Or in my case, in my. The case of my podcast, it's still part of the city, the culture that that is around this area.
[00:08:32] It's not. One is less than. And we shouldn't look at it like that either, you know, and it sucks because we. We put financial structure into it. Oh, you make this amount of money, so you're with this group over here.
[00:08:47] You know what I mean? And I don't want my podcast to be like, oh, because you make this much money, you can't be on the podcast.
[00:08:56] He knows. Look how stupid that sounds. That's idiotic.
[00:09:00] You know, the person that had that makes a lot of money, they could be just as humble as the person that doesn't make a lot of money. That's not always the case. Of course. We know that. So, like, I bring that up because whenever I vet potential people coming on the podcast, I. I want to see their background, I want to see their backstory, because I want to make sure that they're.
[00:09:24] I want to make sure that they're on the podcast for the community and not for themselves, Right?
[00:09:30] And I want to get business owners, people that are trying to make money, that are for the community and not for themselves. Of course they're trying to make a buck. They're trying to make money to try to feed their family, whatever.
[00:09:42] But I still want to be them, to be able to come on and add to the community that I'm trying to build or create with the Corpse Christie Originals podcast.
[00:09:51] So, yeah, this is just my day three for the Jesus Hilario H.
[00:09:57] Show, which is on. You can find me at YouTube, Asusi, Lario H.
[00:10:02] And all these. I'm putting them into blog posts. I'm cleaning up, putting the transcript and cleaning it up and putting it as a blog post. You can read it if you want to, but, yeah, this is just my adding to my daily vlog, I guess you can call it. It's kind of like a blog, but it's a daily vlog, which is inspired kind of by Seth Godin, who decided to have a blog post every day.
[00:10:30] And he has this concept of not shipping something. If something is not shipped, people can't see it. You know what I mean?
[00:10:37] So it's part of that. Check it out, you guys. Thanks a lot. Let me know what y' all think in the comments. Have a good one. Bye.
